Terri Hawker heads IntervalZero’s Product Management initiatives and chairs the company’s Development Committee (DevCom), which guides overall product development strategy and approves the roadmap for the company’s flagship hard real-time software products, RTX64 and RTX.
Terri establishes the product requirements for each release of RTX64 and RTX by carefully assessing market trends and forces; by considering customers’ product enhancement requests and their product feedback; and by consulting regularly with the customers’ senior leadership as well as sales and R&D executives. She shepherds the feature set through the agile product development process all the way through product delivery from engineering to manufacturing.
Terri’s long experience with IntervalZero’s software, her deep knowledge of embedded software development and the Windows operating system, and an extensive engineering background make her uniquely qualified to spearhead Product Management.
Terri began her career in 1997 as a Northeastern University Co-op at VenturCom, a predecessor company of IntervalZero and the company that originally developed RTX. Terri continued with the company in a variety of Engineering roles in its several reincarnations as VenturCom was rebranded as Ardence and as Ardence was acquired by Citrix in 2007.
Terri was part of IntervalZero’s founding team in 2008, when CEO Jeff Hibbard led the acquisition of the Ardence embedded business from Citrix. Terri served as an Engineering manager at IntervalZero until she was named Product Manager and later Director of Product Management in 2011.
She holds a Computer Science Degree from Northeastern.
