Hyper-Threading Technology System Requirements

To use Hyper-Threading (HT) technology, a system must have the following components:

Refer to Intel’s Web site for up-to-date information on what processors and chip sets are supported for Hyper-Threading:

http://www.intel.com/products/ht/hyperthreading_more.htm?iid=technology_ht+rhc_requirements

NOTE:  IntervalZero does not support the use of RTX on any HT-enabled system that does not meet all of the above criteria set forth by Intel.

Hyper-Threading Compatibility

If Hyper-Threading support is enabled from the BIOS on a system that also has an HT processor(s) installed, then either the “MPS Multiprocessor” or “ACPI Multiprocessor PC” HALs will be installed by Windows on that system. RTX can be installed successfully on this type of system.
