NEW License Activation System for RTX 2012

A new licensing system has been implemented for RTX 2012 and subsequent versions of the product. Please note that for versions of RTX 2011 and prior, the existing licensing process remains in effect.

After downloading and installing RTX 2012 on the target machine, an activation and configuration utility will start, prompting you for the product activation key you received in an email confirming your purchase.  Cut and paste the activation key into the activation and configuration utility and click Activate.  Once RTX 2012 is activated you must configure your subsystem. Once the system is configured, you will be prompted to reboot. If you have not received a product activation key, please contact your Sales Representative at sales@intervalzero.com.

Two RTX 2012 licensing tutorial videos – one for activation when the target has an Internet connection, and one for non-Internet activation – can be viewed here.

RTX 2012 Virtual Network Add-On and Video

8/24/2012 – The IntervalZero™ RTX 2012 Virtual Network Add-On provides a virtual point-to-point connection between Windows and RTX that emulates a local area network connection on a system. The RTX Virtual Network Add-On allows developers the flexibility to use socket communication between processes on the same system with no additional hardware. The virtual network also allows for easy porting of multiple system applications to run on one system with no code changes. This installation consists of a Windows Virtual RTX Ethernet Adapter and a RTX Virtual NIC which is used by the RT-TCP/IP Stack. You can watch a video tutorial on the RTX 2012 Virtual Network Add-On here.

Source Code

The IntervalZero™ RTX 2012 Virtual Network source code is provided as is, for your own
education, development and use. This source code has only been tested on RTX 2012 and may behave differently if built and run on other versions of RTX.
