Our Strategy
Our strategy is to lead the transformation of industrial automation from locally managed, hardware‑bound systems to centrally orchestrated, software‑defined environments. MaxRT wRTOS™ is the cornerstone of this strategy: a unified platform that integrates real‑time scheduling, deterministic networking, machine automation, and secure connectivity.
We are building the architectural path toward cloud‑delivered workloads, automated patching pipelines, and unified IT/OT management planes. This includes embracing open standards, consolidating control functions onto industrial PCs, modularizing the software stack for long‑term compatibility, and preparing customers for the operational and regulatory realities introduced by the Cyber Resilience Act.
Importantly, a Real-Time Hypervisor will be key to delivering on a software-defined architecture, and the follow-on product to MaxRT wRTOS™ , will be MaxRT vRTOS which will support Linux and Windows as a front-end for the Guest VM and will reuse the same RTOS-module for the RT VM.
By delivering a pre‑integrated, standards‑aligned, and future‑proof platform, we enable machine builders to focus on differentiation while accelerating time to market and reducing lifecycle costs.
